We each have our own criteria for choosing the person who will build our home. Mine were (1) A passion for quality – not just to fulfill code; (2) The vision, experience and skill to execute on our concepts – to capture the “ethos” of our ideas in addition to the architecture and design; (3) No surprises – to deliver on commitments and to quickly involve you in constructively working through those unforeseen issues that can occur on a project of this size; and (4) To stand behind the work – no “nickel and diming” after the fact. Gary exceeded our expectations on all these criteria.
We have now lived in our house for ten years and remain as excited and pleased as the day we moved in. The quality and attention to detail has stood the test of time. The many architectural additions still surprise and delight us. And the few, very minor issues we have experienced in the years after the close, were handled by Gary quickly, with grace and without hassle.
After inspecting the house ten years ago just prior to the close, I told my wife we were unlikely to ever live again in a house this well constructed and that was so attuned to our sense of space and esthetics. Ten years later, I can say this is still true …unless we ask Gary to build a new house for us.
