Energy – Water Conservation – Convenience
 

The Department of Energy estimates that the average family of four wastes 10,000 to 12,000 gallons of water annually while waiting for hot water after opening the tap.

 

A motion detector senses your presence when you walk into a bathroom and turn on a pump near the water heater.  The pump draws hot water through a circulation line from the water heater displacing the ambient temperature water in the line. Hot water is available within a few seconds when the tap is opened.  And unlike other circulation lines, ensuring that no energy is wasted, sensor automatically turns off the pump once there is hot water in the line.  In the kitchen, bar or laundry you simply press a button to turn on the pump.  No more wasting or waiting for hot water!
